Aircraft hire pricing
All pricing information below is based on flight switch, not engine time.
At Moorabbin Aircraft Hire we don’t charge you for your time on the ground. On a busy flying day your engine ground time can easily be up to 30 minutes, at most flying schools & hire businesses that’s about $150 before you take off.
We prefer our customers not to be rushed or worrying about the engine VDO meter when hiring our planes. Enjoy your experience, give the plane a thorough warm up in the run up bay, and take your time.
Pricing
All aircraft pricing is based off the following structure
Dry hire rate of the aircraft + fuel (hourly fuel burn * Av Gas price) + oil (if applicable) + Air Services / landing fees (if applicable)
Small changes in the overall wet hourly rate will occur from month to month due to fluctuations in the price of Av Gas.

Aircraft dry hire $198 + Fuel $100.80 (36 x 2.80) + Air Services $18.22.
Total hire cost would be $317.02 including GST.
